Sired by Our American Eagle

out of Santana's Pretty Woman

Sleeping standing up too!
Trying out the legs...
At this point, we had four fillies and he was the only colt, so sticking out his tongue at them was justified, I suppose...
Practicing the lope...
Santana is such a good mother
Didn't take him long to learn to pose. He is only a couple weeks old here, and has great muscling and movement.
I think the photo below is the best one I got of him so far.
I like the shadows and where the sun highlights his face.
With all the colts we had last spring, we made a choice to take only a few to the Regional Futurity, and this colt stood out and was very responsive, so our daughter Melanie showed him, as I had a fall colt to show.
She came in a respectable 4th place, but as you can see by the photos, thought she placed higher...
Warming up, practising parking and flexing.

Entering the ring
Parking out
Accepting the ribbon...but, are you sure I got 4th?

With the heavy snow and cold weather, our colts have 'haired-up" to the point we can hardly tell which one is which, but we will provide some winter pictures as soon as the weather clears up...
January 23 2010 I took a few quick pictures of the colts this afternoon. It is getting dark, but you can see how he has grown (and all the winter hair) and the snow coming down!

June 2010
The fall colt in front, Jus' the Perfect Stone, is still shedding his baby fuzz, next is Girl Watcher, and Miss T Williams is the yearling chestnut filly.
